Evo 4 Standard Boost

Guys, how much is Evo IV's standard boost. Mine is only 0.7 bar, is it normal or do i suffer boost leak? The car is standard with only intake and exhaust mods. Thanx in advance.

if not mistake, my friend E6 only 0.8 bar leh..

E4-E6 should be 1 bar.....
maybe more Evo owner can confirm this...

I checked with the foreign forum. Most of them say its between 0.7 - 0.8 bar.

erm..... me and a fren running 1 bar.....both also stock E4 engine...

Evo_tm , hows ur fuel consumption, assuming full tank of 50 liters can go how far? Say its a mix of normal and "spirited driving" once a while. Maybe from the fuel consumption we can determine if we're suffering boost leak or not since boost leak can surely cause the fuel consumption to shoot sky high.

mine Rm70 can go around 300++km....

Mine RM65 can go bout 270 km like that.

The correct boosting pressure for E5 is 1.09 bar.

I believe E6 is a little higher.

E4 is lower than E5, but if not mistaken is 0.9 ~ 1 bar.

Hv checked this before in Hyper Rev, Evo Bible magazine.

I think some guys stock running 1 bar the internal wastegate a bit jammed or need to readjust the rod..

hi, mine also 0.7 when EBC is switched off.

DOesn't really matter right? Just get a boost controller to incraese it to your preferred boost level... that's what I've been told last time and the stock boost level doesn't really matter to me anymore.
