But when i start the car on next day morning the engine knock again and check enging light came again.:hmmmm:

If I'm not mistaken, Gen 2 Campro still uses ignition cable and distributor type ignition coil. Try checking the cables and ignition coil. Also, try and see if the crank position sensor is covered with carbon and sludge. If yes, try and clean and see if it helps. Also, try and observe if the knocking happens only when the engine is cold or hot or all the time. If it happens only when its cold, try and remove one spark plug and see if its wet with oil. If yes, there could be a problem with your engine oil and you need higher viscosity oil to counter the oil that evaporates and recirculates through the intake. Try adding oil catch tank to reduce this issue.

dear nyantong thanks for reply. yes you are correct proton gen 2 uses ignition cables and coli. I checked my spark plugs. they are dry and clean. can it be a damage on spark high tenion wire? The car runs well and fual consumption is also average. only matter is ekgine knock on start. can this happen for a fault of the Petrol pump?
do you know how to check ignition cables?

Thank you again

try changing your plug cables & fuel filter, but before that pump ron97 n c is there anymore knocking.
