Engine unstable after general overhaul

Erratic idling always pair with vacuum lost.

If u have vacuum meter check the vacuum meter.look for erratic vacuum.normally at idle should be -68 to -75kpa when warm up.less than that indicate leak at head, valve.manifold or even tb.

Compression test might do the job also.since your mechanic did install 1 teeth out.valve might hit piston but on honda engine very unlikely to have valve bend.

Last is to send for cam degreing.since yr mechanic skim the head, valve timing is changed a bit.my mechanic advance a bit my ignition when I skim 0.5mm of my head.valve timing and ignition timing is 2 different thing.

yupp. hopefully so
at the time i send for overhaul, my block n head do go to engineering for skimming because suspect both are bent

I think u should go back to the mech and complain to him about the problem...

the car still haven't out from workshop. Still with the mechanic

compression test was made, all piston compression 200psi
