new overhaull and rebore but cranking engine hard to turn.
why or normal?

cylinder block wall still not properly lubricated... piston ring is in contact with the wall... thats why abit hard... after running in den see how ok??... if serious, ask ur mech lo... mayb didnt rebore properly...

jz a guess... mayb others got better answers... :P

after reborning, you should not rev it high or into high speed coz it's still new piston anyway, the resitance between the piston, piston ring n blok still not 'seragam', have to run it maybe 2-3 weeks.check with ur mechanic, ask him reborn with wat spec like for longer smooth or for racing or medium smooth or did ur mechanic changed ur oil or something like tht la
wat kind of engine oil did he used?
if u wan long lasting, better use those expensive lubricant around 200 lo coz new piston need good oil so the resistance could be minimize
but sometimes the timing belt adjusted wrongly also can lead to ur problem
just my 2cent opinion
sorry if i;m wrong

it is not advisable to break-in an engine using synthetic or synthetic base oils.
they r to slippery to be use as break-in so the ring n all hard to wear out.
my advice to u is to use normal oil first until u finish the break-in prosedure.
try n ask ur mech does he torque ur crankshaft to spec?

pobabli a not the bore clearance too small ? :hmmmm:

battery ok but still hard to turn.
crankshaft n conrod bearing ACL standard 1 size only.
tighten torque with spec.
cylinder n piston ring too fit?
anyone have experience?

the only experience that i got from the problem similar with ur's on rb26 engine.
accidentally tighten the crank above spec.what to do,don't read japanese.:)

spec for b20b.or u can try n search it in the internet.this is important for a
hi revving engine like urs.:)

problem solve..
retorque main and big end bearing follow ACL company spec.
now engine running and do break in for the 1K km.
