ECU for DOHC

Hello dude,
I doing a sohc to dohc from satria 1.6 4G92 sohc to dohc using 4G93 (GTI)
I just wonder can i use back the 4g92 sohc ECU and wires.
since i just change the engine head only.

Some say yes but some say no, who true is that?

Since both also from 4G9X family?

If you didn't change to 1.8 wiring, then no need to change your ECU.


If you are just changing the head alone and not changing wiring, u hv to use back your original ECU.

1.8 using different wiring, it's DOHC wiring.

Even you change the head only, you still using single cam wiring. Notice that your engine still has a distributor?
