hahahaha...... It's NIKKI carb most probaly come from 1.6 or 2.0 Datsun PICKUP or SSS...

Nikki" is an English contraction/nick name of "The Nippon Carb. Co. Ltd", the oldest & biggest in Japan, established in 1932. Nikki scientists, knowing that one of the most important settings in any carburetter is the fuel level, decided to let you "see for yourself" and developed the famous Nikki float chamber window. Not only could you check the fuel level "at a glance", you could also check the fuel delivery, fuel pressure and possible fuel contamination, instantly. This is not possible with any other carburetter.
The Nikki people then added their "secret weapon", an auxiliary butterfly in the secondary barrel, operated by the engine demand, effectively maintaining correct fuel/air ratio during all stages of operation. This is, in fact, a simple "variable venturi", which is why, to the bafflement of some so-called "carburetter specialists", we can fit our standard Nikki carburetter to nearly every car in the world, from 600cc Citroen to 2800cc Nissan Patrol. (jetted suitably, of course.)
Our Nikki carburetters are all manual choke, they have no diaphragms, no solenoids, no vac. units, no auto choke, in fact, nothing to go wrong.

Nothing is hidden from view, all moving parts can be clearly seen. This total lack of complication, coupled with the float chamber window, enables us to tell you and anyone else who will listen "THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS A FAULTY NIKKI......IT JUST DOESN'T EXIST" .

An idea for Classic Car owners is to use a Nikki carburetter for everyday running and refit the original carburetter for showing or sale. This would preserve the condition of the original carburetter, often an item becoming increasingly scarce.

btw...mine is 'Kei Han' Japan carb wor
got heard before ?

hatta, ok lor... the dcnf... but i'm still checking around whehter DCNF has the function like aisan carb whether it will automatically rev the engine when it is start under cold condition....

sky check ur plugs and carb is it tune properly, as u might be running too lean or rich thus affect your performance

I have a bad experience running without filter on my dcnf.... Today the car dies off twice.... And the exhaust is filled with powdery carbon stuff..... I thought it gotta need major repair... So i took out some time to clean up the venturi of the dcnf... To my suiprise... the whole venturi is filled with petroleum n dust residue...... After cleaning, the car seems to be back to normal..... After all, the dcnf still needs filter... Hai... Thinking to try it without filter... heh heh

one more thing, does dcnf has the function like aisan carb where it will automatically rev the engine when starting the engine under cold condition?

just sharing my experience..
cheers
:D

actually, no need filter also can wan, unless you driving like rally place lar, alot dust and all that, but if not, no problem wan, lastime my scooter was running without filter for like a year, no problem arr..oni problem is petrol fly onto my cover oni then have to clean often cause the dust stuck to the cover because of petrol, nothing else mar.....even my car was running without filter for bout 1-2months, cause was testing wether the PVC pipe can tahan the engine heat anot (confirm white PVC pipe wont melt in the engine bay) and i even went to the DIY TT with no filter  everyone was like woah, no need filter wan ar?? that was like erm, 1 year back? ahhahahaa.....
