can try ask some fren to intro some trusted mech

Stick a wideband O2 sensor into ur exhaust tailpipe during adjusting ur carb, and adjust until ur air/fuel ratio is about right, similar to what EFI guys are doing, only we do it with screws instead of laptops. I did a wideband tuning sometime ago and the air-fuel ratio (during acceleration) nicely falls between 12.5 and 12.2, unlucky the the mech already sold his equipment so right now I no longer had any place to do that wideband tuning.

read in the internet there is another method we can get an 02 sensor drill into ur exhaust header and tune ur carb

even tho u have the tools..but without an experienced tuner.. the tools worth of Rm2k above will be same as RM 1.20 cheap toy.

Even experienced mech cannot perfectly adjust carb by ears & nose alone, that's why u need such tool to measure.

Of course can drill ur exhaust pipe to put the O2 sensor, but it's troublesome + very few people will leave the sensor permanently there (unless the car got factory narrowband sensor) + reading from exhaust tailpipe is not far off if the sensor is of 5-wire type eg Bosch LSU4.2.

er, cipan, where's that place eh? Is it near Proton Shah Alam factory? Last time I tried to go there but got lost to another garage (RF Auto), in the end tuned my Mikuni without any wideband.

If you dont have the tools (wideband etc), you still can tune it. Buy a new spark plugs and measure the colours after each run.
