Yeap... Egfan, there is no way plain rubber hose can withstand such high temperature.. :)

EGfan said:where did you guys customise it?? but i guess you gotta wait till next oil change before changing it rite??
savvyhitam said:hy guys... im also BOT for my satria..... :)
blur_civic said:yeap.. :)
it is best... but not definite.. you could recycle? but then again.. your car might throw a tantrum.. :p
blur_civic said:For a minute there i thought you BOT for Savvy... :p Go For IT! Be the first... hahahaha... :p I will not be hold responsible for any possible damage...

Since Mivec uses MAP, i dont think changing to MAF is a solution. Is there any other solution? Please advise.
Thanks all."
If in doubt, you can call Exodus workshop for Mr. CF LO or Mr. Alan. 012-3348925, They have modified many units road running turbocharged MAP sensing engines including Mit. MIVEC 1.6/1.8, Proton 4G13/15, Waja 1.6, Toyota 4AG 16/20 valves, 2ZZ 1.8, Honda B series & etc...................
- By simply fitting the PS Boost-Cut Eliminator can allow original MAP sensing ECU to operate normally when turbo boost cut-in.
- But air/fuel mix must be compensated either by using bigger fuel injector or the subsidiary fuel injector with at least boost & rev. parometers corrections.

i think with the newer versions siemens vdo ecu, the challenge is that these ecu's are highly intelligent using fuzzy logic...even if you can cheat the ecu when boost sets it then telling the ecu to put in more fuel to at least 10:1 air fuel ratio, the fuzzy logic like has a mind of it's own and says"hey this is not right". and check engine light goes on.
blur_civic said:Yeah... actually had a friend who tested my car... then started having his ideas for his 3 week old Hyundai Accent.. hahahahaha...
I was telling him "Boss... want to void waranty ar!"..

I always use PS Boost-Cut Eliminator also to allow the ECU function properly in my customer’s car. It can stop check light coming out from most map sensing ECUs.
Airfuel ratio shown as below is d 2001 onwards 4G13 with Siemen engine management with PS part no: BCE-W1 added when I turbo in 2003
At idling = not much changes with close loop control. It is round 14.7 to 16.5. Cruising speed = not much changes from 13.5 to 12.5. Below 0.25kg/cm boost @cruising speed = b4 fueling is 14 to 15, above 0.25kg/cm boost = b4 fueling is 16.5. [no power]. I upgraded to 380c.c. fuel injectors n recalibrated its pulse from idling to 0.6kg/cm boost to provide ideal 12 to 1 AFR at all round rpm. by using PS Air-Fuel Enhancer part no: AFE-808 II type 4MM with Daihatsu turbo map sensor. 10 to 1 is considered out of tune already.
