The excitement surrounding the Pagani Huayra has dwindled down ever so slightly and rightly so too, as they hasn’t been any new bits about the car to pop out following its debut. Granted, you can’t really blame the Huayra as it has had to go up against the tornado of anticipation from the Ferrari FF and Lamborghini Aventador.
Nonetheless, the Huayra can easily hold its own against those Italy’s finest with its bespoke AMG-built V12 lump that churns out around 700hp. Plus, let’s not kid ourselves when by saying that the interior of the FF or Aventador could be ranked up there with the sheer luxury and intimacy of the Huayra’s cockpit.
One thing that has been missing though has been some good videos and proper engine sounds from the Huayra, something that the FF and Aventador came packed with in abundance. Now, Pagani has released a short video of the Huayra taking to the track in anger. The best bit is that the video captures the car from its most beautiful angle, the rear end right next to the quad exhaust pipes.
The only downside is that there isn’t a proper mic to capture the raspy V12 hitting the high octaves so you’ll have to be content with a little wind noise in the background. Nonetheless, you can still hear the engine in all its glory and you can also make out the aero flaps on the rear moving up and down in accordance with the acceleration and braking.
