Boost meter goes up but no boost

Danny, methinks your boost selenoid kong liau ... provided you have a boost sensor? If the sensor is part of the meter, then 'kau lat' as meter kong.... what boost meter is this?

Happen to my SARD EGT once.. EGT probe melted. Meter still works but needle shaking like on 'feng tau' pills. Replace the sensor and it works perfectly!!

Fuel pressure to high?

Timing too retard?

Restriction in the exhaust system?

many probabe causes.

Better get a second opinion (time to ask for other workshops idea)

mebe u got used to the G-force?
hapened to me once... i took the car out of the workshop... boost meter showing 0.6bar but it feels like no boost...
that problem is with me till today... when boost meter is at 0.5bar feels like no boost also :(

kekeke no la ccl it's not becoz of that, sent it to my mech to check already... will update if I find out whats the problem.

ur explanation not clear enuf...we need to know more in order to help u diagnose online... ;)

1. u mean when car is moving...u don't feel the g-force ?
2. or boost meter moving but car is stationary ?
3. or.... ?

CCL got used to life on the fast lane, but put us there... fuck man.. he'z actually travelling at the speed of mach 5!!! :lol:
 
sdf, the car is moving. I've upped the boost to 1 bar from 0.7 but it feels even lower than 0.7 bar. The boost is almost non-existant. Fuelling wise, I'm using 510cc injectors & supra turbo fuel pump.

However the boost meter reading is correct, it shows 1 bar.
 
Dyno the car to c la.. Simle as that. Mebbe u too used to power & now feel that a 500 bhp monster onli can give u the g's u 1 le..

Too much fuel bogs down power even at hi RPM with hi boost.

Had same problem last time before running with any management.

Previous mechanic merely bumped up the overall fuel pressure via FPR to compensate for the added boost.

Later with management and proper tuning, later discovered it was running WAY too rich. (previous fuel pressure was 100psi :o ).

The tuner trimned down the fuel pressure and tweaked the injector duty cycles. Afterwhich the pull was much stronger, very much stronger.

GRAND THEFT AUTO, HELL YEAH!!!
 
last time , mine is one the exhaust system... hole not big enuff...hohhohohoh....
 
hey bud.... just an idea...it could be a boost leak some where... i had that problem... even showed on dyno... at same boost level lots of hp drop... could be cause turbo got to work harder n the air gets hotter... :(
 
Therefore, best way is to DYNO to c la.. Much better than secon guessing right?

No.1 suspect is that you're running too rich...therefore u actually don gain, but lost power... ;)
exactly like what Joeker said...he experienced it himself...

if u really wanna know better...strap on a Lambda sensor or run the car on Dyno again now...with 1bar...

i'm very sure itz too rich...
 
got boost but not moving as fast at it could?

clutch slip since hit the max torgue level

hahahah, just like me, boost meter show 1bar but foooyooohhh, slow man .... clutch is slipping... all sound but no go. Just look at your rpm meter at 3k rpm jump hell of fast to 6k but car still cruising only... :P
 
sdf, I think u're right. I've reduced the fuel settings and I can feel better response. Will send it for dyno again once I've changed my turbine (someone wants to buy my current one).

Big 16g & small 16g, any significant difference?
