No boost on evo3

my fren has a same case like yours,but not exactly the boost is not gained...its just that when he paddle the fuel,the car seems no power and max until 3krpm even at the first gear, so i would not straight away suspect is boost problem caused the boost hasnt start yet already lack of power...already gotten the ic pipngs,hoses, and airflow sensor checked...no problem...!! the engine light is on,im nt sure if that gotta do with it...headache la

check if any vacuum hose got disconnect, normally at your actuator....

If that happen, the boost will spike... Not no boost...

-crack manifold/banana (bocor)
-turbo kong/jam (shaft,fins problem)

Turbo kong also got alot of pattern... Wht smoke applies if the shaft is worn off or the oil pressure in the oil feed line is too high...... but still able to boost...

any hoses disconnected? boost pressure leak to atmosphere

That's intercooler piping or the intercooler itself bocor.... do a leak test on the IC piping system.

if turbo not leaking means either actuator kacau or intercooler piping leak or both

or your boost meter vacuum hose cabut

If this happen, even the vacumn reading does reads.

Hi bro,tis is ur bov problem n if u notice ur blow off doesn't make sound like usual n wat u hear is the sound from ur air filter when u go on high rev.Cheers

Thanks bro...i tot if turbo kong there should be a white smoke from exaust..uwa....no G Force no boost only vacum....vacum seems normal...below 0.5..

Like explained.... not necessary.. if turbine fin picia, no white smoke.

Low compression..

Take out the turbo and check. manifold/turbine housing crack also no boost.... However, original evo 3 turbine housing n manifold are not prone to therma shock due to their high nitrate content.

kindly check your turbine housing and see the internal waste gate got leak or not?if not can open your turbo turbine housing see inside acualator hole got crack or not?also can check your boost meter hose see got leak or not?if not is your turbo jam already~

ohh soryy...hehe...lastime i just send my car at the workshop...and at the afternoon the guy called n tell me that the car ok already...service using what i also dunno coz lazy wan to wait2 hahaha....im boosting again....yahooo.....
