B18CR Intake Manifold + TB on B16A

yes bro, i adjusted it (upwards) and so far so good, my eratic idling is gone... (touch wood).

but i notice, when im driving.. then i clutch to masuk free gear when approaching traffic light, my idle flies to nearly 2k rpm...

is that normal for u guys as well?

Wah... learn to put in chip and now can adj tps.... good..
For masuk free gear/press clutch before actual car stop.. yes it is normal rpm about 2k.
The ecu seems to monitor the vss(speed sensor)... when below certain speed then only drop
to normal idling rpm....

aight. just to confirm.

thanks bro e-tech.

wouldn't have tried to do it without ur guidance on HOW TO!

still havent solve my idling issues due to my backside itchy go try other ecu.. now have to re-tune my TPS again...

argh.

E-Tech: tried using the multimeter, somehow my foremen couldn't get a proper reading, therefore have to adjust manually... via driving! haha.

ok i believe vacuum leak can also cause this, so i'd like a deeper thought on the matter.

driving (redline!) then stop, idle will go "hunting" for like 2-3 times, then idle back @ 0.8k rpm.

still TPS?

hye..... arrowhead

Mine also using the same set up..... B18CR Intake Manifold + TB on B16A
& also having the same problem...... idling not very good..... same as yours.....
What i did:
a) adjust the TPS voltage 0.475V at switch on
b) Increase idling rev, by adjusting throttle opening at 0% (using the tiny set screw, alen stud)

But then, the problem stil the same as yours.....

Still trouble shooting......

Keep on trying & share with me & I do the same.....

bro arrow...

manage to DIY the TPS adjusting ? any result?

Hye AD_EG

Its me agains.... mine having the same configuration & also exactly the same problem......
Already adjust the TPS voltage to 0.475V..... but still idling so bad.....

I observed through my VAFC I, the TPS volt different during engine running idling.....

also.... the TPS % opening reading very2 erratic during cruising at constant speed (pedal stay but TPS opening up & down)? up & down 20% different between upper & lower at constant crusing

Is it something to do with my main 12V system or the TPS sensor?

Hope u can give some advice

i believe a vacuum leak (as i suspect mine is) could be the culprit as well. i'm actually sending my car back into the workshop tmr (hopefully).

my foremen will remove my intake manifold and re-install it. testing the vacuum hoses 1 by 1 as well, if not replace them all 1 shot.

i'll update u if that works.

i believe this problem is minor, but irritating, therefore I WILL GO TO GREAT LENGTHS TO RECTIFY IT! MARK M WORDS! LOLOL

cheers.

whr u from btw bro?
