Guys,

According to their website, this is an insurance to the fully built race motor. My question is simple: do we really need this damper? As my target max RPM is only 9000rpm. Is stock OEM damper cannot sustain slightly over recommended rev limit?

no need bro , from my exp. oem damper can support up to 10k rpm.
if got budget it is better to use ATI or FLUIDAMPR it can support any rpm and high hp.

for an OEM product, its design usually takes a 'factor' to get the thing to safety use... usually it'll be less than its limit usage.. so, in my opinion it can still sustain over recommended rev limit, but hv to careful not to over-do-it.

:hmmmm:

What setup do you have there which revs up to 10k rpm? I guess it is 4G93 NA or MIVEC application? Is it applicable to 4G63T too? If it ok to keep the OEM damper, i wouldnt spend RM2k for ATI. :banghead:

for any mitsu engine from na to turbo bro..........
yup can , try before at 4g64 rev 10k rpm without performance damper :driver:
