Guys, I've once bought a AE101 block from a fellow Toyota forummer just to find out later that it is letting out white smoke. It's been nearing half a year since that forummer agreed to take back the block and refund me.

That's a con. Let me stop short of naming that person. He's not EFN.

I would like to avoid from making assumptions but bare facts reveal that there are some (or many?) people in the car modding scene who have barely enough money to pay their monthly installments yet still eager to splash out on new accessories. This is a type of addiction which is growing with the never-before-so-popular car modding scene.

These addicts then let themselves resort to con. Sikit-sikit tipu.

I kindly urge you guys from throwing yourself into defence of somebody before knowing the fact because it will undermine the real victim. I understand that it is always an easy and convenient thing to do when you're not the one who got conned.

While friendship can never be based on earthly possessions (like cars), I always take care of friendships. But when a friend did wrong, then he did wrong.

Of coz I know. and this case happened long time ago.
but the seller said confirm no prob and push you to buy, after u bought it end up with rusty sleeve, then the owner said no warranty?

Can consider this as con case?
I think up to date I already purchase plenty or engine and half cut, but never face with this kind of prob before.

This is case study, and I'M NOT Seeking for any answer here.
Anyone can argue their point for their own benefit. Thus I think seller should tell the buyer the term and condition before sell off their stuff to the new buyer.

Selling time promise this, promise that, engine okay, no white smoke, running in a car. After sell, sudah pandai jadi lawyer. Classic case of desperation.

A C56 gearbox with a "kong" LSD.... cracked and cause severe oil leak.
i believe he dismantle the gearbox to see it's conditon b4 selling.
as when i unscrew the gearbox, all the screws ain't tighten, all loose.

rolla's engine condition is not as promised. but rolla doesn't complaint.

u know that he got himself a BT later.. changed suspension
as well.

he can afford for all those why can't he pays the small amount
