i need your opinion..........

Now im using 4g92 twin cam non mivec.... im planning to change it to mivec.
can u all give me so advice... do i need to upgrade it??? pro n con between this 2 machine? is there any difference between this 2 engine??

plz help me.....
im new in this area... buntu...........

talk on top of paper, 4G92 non mivec can provided with 140ps, however mivec have 170ps output.

if not mistaken, if u want 2 convert ur 4g92 to mivec, u need mivec head, ecu n maybe wiring coz mivec don't hv airflow, but of coz still can't b same as ori mivec coz the tb size was bigger n pistons was different, also some parts are different..

easy way, upgrade ur current engine la.. many ways to do..

bro i'm oso using that engine to my car..if wan go to mivec it's ok, how about BOT..i think better than mivec lo...can used all gsr part if wan...
costing for GSR wiring,ecu,TB,Intake magnifold,Turbine,intercooler & piping,Air flow sensor around rm3k ++..piston 1 must changes if wan go for high boost...
that price what i survey @ chop shop before, if u r lucky maybe u can find cheaper than what i survey..

depend to u laa bro wanna go for N/A or force induction...

yeah.. gud suggestion from zzainudin but if u like to go for turbo la.. but if u want to stay wit n/a, u can try search post on 4g91 upgrade, didn't remember the title is, seems both engine r same, diff only on cc..

for me, better for upgrade step by step, so dat u can feel the response..

depends on ur liking ..turbo or na style ..but first ..how is ur driving habit? u floor the rpm always till 4k above? then can go mivec ..coz mivec over tat onli open ..before the mivec open ..it is like any normal dohc 1.6 lol ... so if u onli floor to 3k then dun take mivec la ..seldom open ..no effect di ..take turbo hehe

tq.... i think i prefer n/a becoz i trevel alot...... furthermore turbo cost alot in maintanance....... and turbo cant tahan long distance.... right o not???

yea la bro..N/A can push from start to end, Turbo sometimes must relax cant forced street, what i know laa..

find the mivec head 1 oso convert to mivec..if u like mivec, what i heard if 1.8 block + mivec head is very powerfull..corect me if i'm wrong bro..

ya also ..hehe i too prefer na style..so the most good way is to transplant the whole engine halfcut ..coz the lsd gearbox is importatn .. but anywya u can use back ur block ..but need to find other stuffs like wiring,ecu,head,lsd gb ..

Kanobi: Sorry abit off topic, but may i know which model of 1.8 na ECU are u using on ur 4g92 engine??

For the mivec head conversion to ur engine, u definately need to get the mivec wiring, ECU, engine head and TB. Therefore its not that cheap as well. And if u rojak with 1.8 blok will be even more powderfull...:X-:
