Hi guys

How does your vacuum reads?

all values In.Hg

1) idling (mine is 18.5 hot 16.5 cold - air cond idle 14.5 hot 12.5 cold) text book reference is 22 best 19 still acceptable

2) sudden throttle around 50% (mine goes towards 5 In.Hg then drop) same

3) full throttle (mine near 3 In.Hg) same

4) Crusing (mine near 3 In.Hg) text book around 15

5) soft deceleration (mine around 15 In.Hg) text book over 15 around 20

6) hard deceleration (mine around 22 In.Hg) text book 25 or more usually 27

I'm very concern on issue 4 because that has to do with fuel economy, please see vacuum gauge meter picture in http://www.my-acoustic.com/Car/AFM/Replace_AFM_by_MAP.htm

Is it 4 throttles different from 1 throttle???

Please share your reading.
