who is kiki? :p

Alonso won,
Unlike Ferrari, Renault did not send their car to do testing at Bahrain and they still won the race, looks like Renault still have an upper hand over Ferrari.

Kimi, 20th -> 3rd
Montoya, 5th -> 5th
different between Kimi and Montoya :)

F1 car have more colours this year.

i personally think that Renault and McLaren have a faster car. Ferrari need to have a good tactic to win.
but thing may turn around when they get back to Europe. :)

michelin still hold a slight edge to bridgestone...

Hooray ! Montoya driving like a bitch ! Damn same car but different performance overall ! But the one stop strategy from mclaren for kimi was really great !! Go KIMI !

hahaha.. JPM wasnt really shinning this race.. but he did complaint engine prob during practice abt not enuff power? maybe that was the reason?

Yeap, i do think Michelin still hold a slight edge over Bridgies.

Ferrari's are definitely back but Alonso continued where he left of last year. But Massa was a little too inexperience and he fuck up 2 times in the race. First time when he was overtaken easily by Alonso and second time when he screwed up his turn and very nearly took Alonso with him. As a matter of fact, Massa is quite a fast driver but last season itself, he made quite a few mistakes. I'm not sure if he's the right driver for Ferrari.

Anyways, Raikkonen had a great race. He started almost with a full tank of fuel but still had speed to overtake like 6 or 7 drivers from the back. His stunning pace put him to 3rd place and i must say had he started like in the second or third row, he could well be challenging Alonso and Michael. Its a pity all the bad luck seem to fall on him.

was it me or nico was performing remarkably well for this race? hell he doesnt look like a rookie at all.. kimi, fernando beware

clien was a good suprise this race.. outperforming david thru out the weekend..

well done alo, msc and kimi!!!!!!! good race at bahrain..... how got nice scene at sepang too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! keep the spirint of race!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, i must say i was taken aback by Nico Rosberg performance. He's got the speed, very calm and composed and uses his racing brains well.

When Massa started off, he was hailed as the next Raikkonen. True enough, he had speed but he was clumsy and never really did use his racing brains. At times, you find that he's very rash and spins out due to silly reasons.

massa is quick.. he could probably got pole if wasnt for traffic but yes he is kinda wild.. but give him a chance to develope this season with a really competitive car and competitive team mate.. its easier to be calm than to be quick..

I'll vote rosberg as best rookie of the year,
any history of him ?

german fbmw champion at the age of 17.. 2 yrs in euro f3 with remarkable result (with inferior car) and GP2 champion last yr

Kimi Raikkonen was last on the Bahrain grid thanks to a right lower wishbone failing on his rear suspension during qualifying. There are no heavy suspension loads or high kerbs at Sakhir and the failure was down to a manufacturing fault. It does, however, draw attention to the extreme design of components on the MP4-21, with the dimensions of many reduced to the maximum in a bid to save weight and minimise any negative impact on the car's aerodynamics.

Rosberg was named as the Drive of the Day by Martin Brundle. That kid has got some talent.

Excellent team effort from Renault for the win.

Schumacher was unlucky. Nearly had Alonso if not for Renault's tactics working like a charm.

Kimi, not for the first time, suffered misfortune and had to start from the very back of the grid. And made it on to the podium, also, not for the first time.
