Think of it another way.

Schumacher won 2 WDCs by winning 19 GPs but needed a whopping 70 GPs to win his latter 5 WDCs. Just a thought.

heck... i think Nigel Mansell even won his WDC without winning a race...just got 2nd place most of the time and he is world champion...
