The answer
I saw an unker once that parked his Alphard. After that, he kept looking back at his car, check left, check right, check front and back. I thought he was in love with his car....

So I asked him if he was alright....he says "Ï scared my car kena scratch, oso kena curik".

Was it Love? Obsession? Paranoia?

I say Poor Rich Unker

I understand his feeling. I also afraid, that's why I always make sure my car parked within the box, and at shopping malls, I love to park it very near to the pillar. Leaving a big gap among me and the middle car.

U know la, some people they dont even bother, swing the door big big then kena your car.
I left the door protector guard on the doors even after respray. Just need them in Malaysia.

Too many inconsiderate people.

Guess new cars nowadays u buy, no more the door protector. Cut cost I guess.

I think not Rich, he spend a vast amount for that Alphard and want to make sure it is safe and in good condition. I have seen Rich friends who have a few nice cars and treat them like normal cars, because too rich and have too many cars.....

yeah. some love the car bcoz of the amount of money spent buying the car, others love the cars becoz of the huge amount of effort in repairing, improving, maintaining the cars. This is definitely priceless...

Some people buy cars they pick colors and numbers so that easy to sell off. :banghead:
hehe, at least the owner considered $$$$ and RV when buying their cars.

The craziest reasons I hear from our politicians were that we Malaysian need to buy (Malaysia-made) cars. If dont buy such cars, then we are branded as unpatriotic. Ironically, these politicians drive mercs, bmw, and other conti pulak....how come ar?

Japs and koreans do have that kind of mindset actually. But Malaysians... lol.

Ya, most people consider RV when buying a car, which is why so many is buying the same thing, and in the same color.

Agree that japanese and korean have such mindset. I would agree with them if their own country's product is superior, just like those JDM stuff that only available to Jap. They have all the reasons to be proud becoz of good products...

but Malaysians supporting the local made car based on their quality?
I am of the opinion that even an early 1990s JDM car has better built quality than a year 2010 Malaysia made car...
Just saying....
