Change to kumho XS already, each cost rm590 for size 18/225/40..
Very grip compare to my last kumho MX..
I change at kin alligment, mr. kin said the tire we can use either both side, even it has different texture, so its mean u can rotate left and right, back and front, thats what he said..
hehe..

590 is cheap for 18s!

from the pattern of the XS thread, im not sure if it is recommendable to rotate the inside to outside and vice versa..

ya lo bro, actually at the first I also think like that, but dunno la, mr. kin said like that..
Haha..
But the funny thing for 17 inch, Federal RSR n Kumho XS is almost the same price, only in 18 inch, Federal RSR price jump so far, more than rm200.. :banghead:

I also changed to Kumho Ecsta XS KU36 recently at kin also. 215/45/17 @ RM420 a pop.

So far so good. Its been raining heavily recently, and i am quite suprised at the wet grip level it offers. Performance was quite predictable in the wet, did not aquaplan as much as i tot it would (judging from the groove paterns that it has). In heavy downpour, could maintain 90-100kmph with no drama what so ever. As for dy grip, next week monday at the hcoc jdms trekday will be the real test....

Would like to give my 2 cents on the kumho ecsta xs ku36 since I got a chance to whack them on track earlier today. They are superb!! Better then ad07s and way better then the old potenza 050a I use to run. Dry grip was really assuring and their performance never dipped even after 4-5 hot laps. They heat quite quickly and don't squel that much like my potenzas when I was roughing it out with them :-p really satisfied with these.

I ran these up front, and the potenzas at the rear since they were still thick. Had to adjust my driving style as the front now grip much much more then the rear. Spun in turn 1 due to this :-p. But quickly learned to adapt, the car now handles like my old EF, a little tail happy. But in the EP there is ample warning and only minor corrective steer was needed to keep me out of trouble...
