<p>Soon to enter the daunting 24-Hours of Nurburgring, the British marquee had just successfully tested a very special Rapide S which runs purely on hydrogen. This gives the Rapide S the ability to emit zero CO2 during their test lap at the Nurburgring on April 27, with Aston Martin’s own CEO Dr. Ulrich Bez himself making this historic run.</p>

<p>Using the four-hour ADAC ACAS H&R-Cup VLN Series race to give the car a proper shakedown, the team is looking forward in running the Hybrid Hydrogen Rapide S in the race. But they are not only looking forward in participating, but also to stabilize the system in order to further improve the Rapide S to complete many more zero emission laps during the race.</p>

Competing in the E1-XP experimental class, the car is being powered by a prototype 6.0-liter V12 engine with extra boost provided by two turbochargers.</p>
