Which engine is better for my Iswara

I got 1 iswara 1.5 year 1990 need to uprade engine. Please advice which engine is suitable and easy to maintain on my Iswara. I'm planning to change it either to 4G91 or 4G92. Any info on which shop who can offer me the engine with the installation? Please give me info. Thanks.

4g9x engines must mod engine mounting only can fit... might face some trouble endorsing ur car at puspakom, unless mountings are done really nicely...

4g91 halfcut cost around rm5.5k... 4g92p sohc cost about rm2.5k... 4g92 mivec cost about rm9.5k... prices not include installation and major/minor services/overhaul...

if u want plug and play engine without any hassle, find 1.6 stroker kit for ur 4g15 engine... with some other upgrades, it is equally powerful compare to 4g91 or 4g92p....

if u wanna take the risk, i recommend 4g92p sohc for starter... cheaper and with lots of potential to mod...

go for 4g91 it is Double Over Head Cam.save fuel also.that is what old old guy told me.

hihi 4G15,Steven from kl cheras.

i also driving proton iswara sedan year 1995 1.3 manual but already convert to 4G92 MIVEC BLACK TOP manual gear.

i do my convert and purchase the half cut at MUN LEE half cut cost me rm 4800.00 all in rm 7000.00 last 4 years back...

my suggest also 4G92 SOHC OR DOHC and last choice is 4G91 DOHC.
