What Brand of AT and Engine oil is good ?

going to change my AT and engine oil soon,but dont know want to change which brand.Currently for engine oil i use Shell Semi,AT oil is from proton one.....
so any brand of oil to intro ? and i'm driving Gen2(A)

stick with what u're using lor ... good enuf .. change oil every 5000km

unless u wanna experiment using other oil, that one is up to urself to try... many oils in the market. from expensive to cheap ones.. So whats ur budget n car mods ?

everytime u use a diff oil, chk its lvl after 5000km (jz b4 u change oil) also test for viscosity changes (get a sample of new oil n compare to the used)

see the difference yourself.

I've gone through same thing b4, tested many semisyn oils from Motul, castrol, mobil, shell to Q8 if u jz wanna a piece of opinion u can PM me

since bought the car till now,engine and AT oil using the same one.....cos go to the same proton SC service....
now no more warranty so plan to go to other shop do,cos more cheap......
and my car never try other engine and AT oil before,so plant to let "her" "drink" something new....hahah..

Q8 oil price not ensive la....bout the same wit other brands oso......

u can try Lubeguard oil additive if u wish, carry by Q8 distri as well if not mistaken..

all of these can be found at Eneous, 1 utama at Bandar Damansara....

Kepong has Eneous as well, but i nvr been there b4 so i not sure there got sell o not...i just saw at one utama..

ya..Q8 has ATF as well....

I got mine for RM85 =) But from my mech in Klang la.

Seriously you should try Q8.Im using it in my lousy car yet the tappet sound isnt singing loudly or should I say no tappet at all.

some cannot adjust le bro....and after using Q8, most owners said it can reduce n even eliminate the sound after 3rd oil change
