Wawasan 2020.

next election......hmmmmm...

how true and how transparent our election is....??....can anybody verify....firmly??
can we really trust the suruhanjaya pilihanraya.....??
they have successfully aired a lot of madafukkin wayang before, why cant they staged another wayang successfully...??
what if everything is already pre-planned, who goes up after who, they are just taking turns...on a stage that we called "democracy"?
u think they wud easily put their positions at stake, in OUR hands...us, so called "the voters"??
do they really count it?
dont you think they are a little bit smarter than that, that they would've secured their interests and their relatives' and cronies' when they are in power?
dont you think that they are even smarter, to assure that this power should never be taken away from them?

hey, if i were them...i'll be smart enuff to do so...wont YOU???!!!

peace!

Well, we could sit here and make assumptions or we could give it a go and do something. Dare to fail mate. Don't fret about things that might or might not happen.

Worse comes to worst, when the authority is crooked and the people are oppressed, there will be revolution. That is how many countries, including the big guns, are founded as we know them today. It won't be pretty, the people will of course suffer...we might lose our way of life as we know it today (which is what most people are most afraid of). But that is the way of the world sometimes. War, Peace and Revolution, in an endless waltz. Wait a minute...I'm getting a bit carried away here :)

well, judge for yourself. I hope to see some kind of greater share of opposition in the parliament. we'll just have to wait and see.

Also, I don't see why you needed to censor the numbers of the date.

Well, I presume you know what to do then. Pass on the word.

vote who?...the PAS candidate at my constituencies..??

bah...the national front is like a ship running out of fuel....the opposition is like sampan with a hole as big as a ball.....i stick with the ship...at least its float...anyway...i like my current parliment and state assemblyment since they are doing good job for my kampung....lots of development been brought in since they won back the set from pas 4 years ago....im gratefull for that....and my gratefullness is due where it belongs...

Then it's simple: don't vote. Write a letter to both BN and BA candidates telling them why their ideals, promises and campaign failed to appeal to you and why neither of them deserves your vote. Then send a copy to Jeff Ooi at www.jeffooi.com . I'm sure he'll be more than delighted to post it up.

GtiShadowFax,

You think no one talks about who they voted for at the local kopitiam, pasar malam or wet market? It'll be like "Hey I voted for that BA dude too, but BN won the seat! WTF IS GOING ON?!"

Of course most likely, after 3 weeks most will forget about it and be shocked at some rumour involving Siti Nurhaliza and a 'Dato'.

phat7,

Don't wait and see. Act now and do it. :)

guys...
I think the government can trace down to each of us when we vote.
B4 we vote, they give us a slip, it has a number on it. They knew which party we supporting.
With proper data minig application they can calculate trend analysis and anticipate the outcome.

so, every year, they restructure the area, move some voter from zone A to B. IMHO, the government are trying to balance off the vote, so that, just nice the number of voter which supporting party A will win the zone A area.

Just my thought ...

G dont need to do that, relocation planned programmes "allows" some sort balance for them...

what we need is "balance of the force".

anakin ? where are you

I post these things not for you people to believe blindly. In fact don't believe any party blindly. You have eyes, you have ears and you have brains. Use them. Observe for yourself, listen for yourself, think for yourself. The truth and facts are out there and sometimes it is plain obvious, it stares you in the face. Learn to question things around you, learn to think critically. Don't take everything whole and unprocessed.

People tend to show you what they want you to see and hide everything else. As humans we naturally want to believe that everything is fine and dandy. So when they paint a pretty picture we are fast to accept it as the truth. Why? Because it appeals to us. That is not the way. The truth is often much much uglier, which is why people avoid it and prefer lies, which is what politicians pounce on. Seek for your own answers and make your own judgement.
no solid proof so how true is it........this guy will always be thaught of a good malaysian fictional political storyteller......he can only type fiction so people like me which has so much time on my hand can read and improve my reading skill.....

saga,

agreed.

dalam satu tandan pisang bukan semua busuk...

my MP at hometown oso good and voted for him last time. no matter which party, if anyone's this good, they deserve our vote.

what they do behind our backs, is none of my business. it's up to them lor...but somebody's always watching...and who are we to judge anybody?

the only true justice is on judgement day...if they escape here, he'll definitely get it there...

for the time being....we are ok...compared to those countries below us, of course we're ok...and to me, compared to US,UK and all those western countries that some of us worshipped so much oso...i think we're far better in some aspects, especially when it comes to those related with human rights.

some say they fight for human rights...but see who go and invade another country?
some say they fight for equal rights...see how they treat their black community?
some say they are always there for third world country...see whose help arrived among the last when Acheh was devastated?

given all this world...to trade with what i have today...NO WAY!!!

yes, i've got pissed-off a lot of time with all this govt bullshit, looking at govt servants and how they handle their work, how they attend to people, how arrogant and proud they are, padahal belajar tak sampai mana pun...cakap omputih anak aku lagi bagus...
yes, i have lots to complain on and off...

but i love malaysia...and probably this little things are the one that spiced up our daily life...probably these things are the ones that moulded us into our flexible personality today - give us ideas to deal with all sorts of people's character...and its also a good on going test of patience...

actually, not too bad, huh?

GEE...not bad at all.....

u think in iraq n palestine got this kind of forum, meh..?where we can sit down comfortably...voice out our opinion freely...release our stress...free theraphy maa...

how is it to think, suddenly while posting into this forum...all things got terribly shaken by earthquake..or volcano erruption?

those people in those suffering countries...only think of how to live...or eat in the morning, when they open up their eyes...for luch, dinner...u might have, u might not have..or worst ur head got blown apart by donno who...

kia sini duduk can think of "apa nak modified lagi kereta aku ni...?" or call our wife or gf, "honey, where wud u like to have dinner tonite..?"

breathing, eating, surviving, going for a stroll in the park...are too basic for us already, till we dont feel that we are "doing" it...

for them...they have to think of how to survive these basics....

alhamdulillah.....

speaking of 2020, why are u comparing msia to lesser countries? if u compare us to the worst of them off, HELL yes we're ALWAYS better than them. IF u want to be the best, compare yourself against the best, no less. u mentioned US, UK has racial problems....and i ask u WHY do u pick those negative points? why dont u compare against their better points like FIRST class instituions, FIRST class infrastructure for the people, FIRST class health services...etc. and what about other developed european nations. why dont u mention them? countries like france, switzerland, norway, denmark, germany...etc. look at japan (ONLY 105 road deaths in 2005, we TOPPED >200 for the festive ONE season ALONE!)

open up your eyes to the world boy. take the BEST that other countries has to offer and use it for msia and dump the shit policies that they have (cos msia has more than enuf of its own shit policies, namely NEP which incidentally WILL continue on to 2020). there is NO utopia i agree, but this attitude of sayin we're better off than palestine, iraq etc is just LAME.

p/s: u say malaysia has BETTER human rights than UK, US?? then let me ask you....have u stayed in either place for extended periods of time to judge them so? you mentioned in a paragraph that who are u to judge, and yet here u are judging other countries. what a hypocrite. but YES, i do agree with you that they HAVE issues....which country doesnt? but i would not say that malaysia has a BETTER human rights rap than them.

Ditto.

Read trancebum's post again and again if you don't agree because you are deluding yourself if you yet again cannot see this logic that he, I and others have tried to point out.

PS: To say some people worship other coutries because we want OUR country to be better than them is about the stupidest, most narrow-minded thinking I've ever come across. All this comparing with 3rd world countries is being narrow.

bro trance...

are u a malaysian?
are u holding malaysian i/d card(change to mycard already aaa???)
are u STILL here in Malaysia?

if all your answers are "yes", i congratulate u, bro!BRAVO!!!FEEEEWIIITTTT!!!!
CAYALAHH!!!!

oh..and one more....are u STILL BREATHING malaysian air?

coz i've breathe in US for a few years...UK for one or two...and hell, do they stink!
heheh...cool man...

arent u earning a good living here?
arent u eating good food here?
arent u able to go out at any time, not afraid of being shot?
arent u lucky to be here?

or are u one of those dealers who got sumtin stuck at port klang?
aisee.....no wonder laa...so berapi one...heheh...

chill off, bro...

wonder how it is, to start over in another place...people like u...and wonder how those people will take it, when u start mumbling of how bad our country is...maybe they would say "hey good la this guy, once he's here, he waste s no time talking bad of his hpmeland...wonder what he'll say about ours if he moves to another country after this...?"

and probably they'll give u a pat in the back and a warm-red carpet welcome!

bro...

sayin we are better than those poor country is not lame, coz its the truth, whether u like it or not...

and i think we are slightly better than US,UK and all those crap countries that shout out loud about human rights, equality, world peace, but then in front of the whole world, stepped on others mercilessly...

being an asian (not sayin malaysian), in another country and tried to earn a living...i know how hard it is...

maybe u wanna try...if its so bad here than...lu berak dekat mana pagi tadi...if not in your toilet, in your house, on this blessed soil of beautiful malaysia...

while u were walking into toilet, do u have to go slow...see left right left right...mana tau ...ada orang mau tembak lu....ada bom mau jatuh ka...?

or just....adooiii!!!sakit perut...cepat cepat mau berak laa....then rushed into toilet...and aaahhHhhhHH!!!....LeGaAaAAA!!!

no need to think about bomb.
no sniper around to blow your brains out.
no quake to split your toilet bowl.
no volcanic erruption to spill your shit all over.

sudah berapa lama u think, those people in those country..mau berak pun trak senang?

peace...

so here we are, having a good debate on this....

u think they've got chance to do this?
