Vtec B.O.T is it differ with NA B.O.T?

hehe i tink we should compare 4g92 mivec bot vs b16a bot instead
dont la pick the 92p :P

i guess both has pro's and cons , bt once we are trying to push it to the limits
the 16a will have more expenses, blockguard ? sleeves ? :)

actually the thread started when im confius with the powerfull of BOT vtec, compared with normal aspirated non variable valve engine BOT.. yes found it clear the differ of variable valve of vtec itself is one of the most contribution of this powerfull factor...

but...

why?! the combination of this vtec and BOT are need if vtec itself already enough..and for bot vtec i already witness it myself vtec BOT sometimes are much powerfull from original turbo...


are BOT the solution for slugish lower rpm for vtec?!

hahaha... normal laa, human are greedy .... 170hp not enough, upgrade to 250hp.. still not enough... huhuhuhu... that why human put jet engine in car.... still not enough...

i done a few research on vtec already,
but the main point here is why BOT,
the concept of BOT is already differr itself from vtec..
so why there is still a few vtec owner BOT? even the variable valve itself is already strong enough...

mind the gap of power gain between NA engine with BOT.. i understand it already..just love to study more rational reason why vtec need BOT... thanks guys for sharing in advance...


Simple bro,why you wan to mod your car? you need/want more power? same reason why other ppl do it.whether VTEC or not...BOT or not...they always want MORE POWEr.

what my tuner shares with me, either small vtec + big bot OR big vtec + small bot. depends which powerband you want to improve.

the variable valve does contribute a lot for BOT...
why people want to BOT vtec even vtec is already powerfull enough? from my point of view...yes...vtec already prove itself achiving 100 hp or more per liter..one of the highest hp on small diplacement NA engine...but to reach 300hp without BOT is difficult...even if you fully build 2 liter b20 vtec engine, it's still difficult to reach 300hp...so the solution to get more power is to BOT...it's not about the solution for sluggish low rpm coz i've drove a 2 liter vtec and the low rpm torque is good enough...i think it's all about achiving more HP...
