Vios 2003 yr dashboard meter lights not function after take out and put back. Anyone know how to solve?

which light bro? my temperature control light not functioning properly after my mech took the dashboard out. and he cant find the problem with it... when its not on, i have to whack it a bit... then only the light will come out.. dunno how to solve it. i just leave it as it is..
