Bump:
i hv tis problem b4. found tat is cause by the losen water temp sensor...after changed it everything is fine...

previously i used the stock seg 1.6 meter 240km/h fine just engine check light will on when travel above 3.5k rpm..cos no speed signal to ecu....but it won't affect the performance... good cos no speed cut at 180km/h

now using fx meter...can rev higher n no check light problem...downside is speed cut around 190km/h...

Hi.....your is AE101 meter ah? I don't face this problem btw i am using AE111 Auto meter

Just to update on my issue with the meter showing weird water temps (jumping temps).
I found out that my fuel return hose was leaking the other day. It was prolly leaking a little for the whole month until the hose gave up and started leaking all over my engine bay.

So bought a new fuel return hose and hooked it up. No more fuel leaking and the water temp needle on the meter sits happily at the middle (slightly lower than middle). Apparently, leaky fuel return hose seems to be causing my water temp needle to jump up and down... perhaps its trying to tell me something :listen:

So you guys might want to check your fuel return hose. Its very dangerous to have fuel leaking on your engine compartment. Make sure the plug cables are not leaking any sparks.
