URGENT!!

i have installed

mcafee
ad aware pro edition
pest patrol

but still my pc crash last night due to some stupid adware. later i found out that it was caused by coolwebsearch trojan, one of the most difficult spyware infections to detect and remove.


i have scanned using mcafee, erased but after reboot resurfaced back. then used ad aware and pest patrol still erased and come back. I LOST MY GOOD 6 hours SLEEP DUE TO THESE stupid adware!

but later around 0530 i found these prog

bugger... dl it and then scan ... then cleaned. but too bad this good prog valid for 30 days only...........

i recommended you guys to try it. even ad aware cant clean throughly.

i wonder how trojans can get in ur pc
with all the preventive measures u hv taken.
 
there are lotsa holes in IE if left to its default security setting. certain sites i surf to using firefox it tells me that the site wants me to download some files sometimes .exe but usually active x and java, i'm very sure IE will not notify or block and will just accept it. but if you set it too high surfing will be almost HTML and GIF only <_<
 
I recently reformatted my laptop n downgraded to Windows 2000 Pro.

Before install any drivers, I installed Ad-Aware SE Professional and activated the Ad-Watch application. This small program will monitor any changes to registry and prevents spyware / adware from installing.
 
Speaking of BSOD... the BMW 745iL uses Windows CE as its core OS to control the entire vehicle's function.

Read a report from The Star that a Thai minister was trapped inside the car after the system crashed and activated the central locking. Worse off, the car was armour plated and had bullet proof glass. Rescue personnels took more than 2 hours to free the poor fella. :P
