Toyo T1R user

I looking for T1R tire nowday
but
Someone told me that Toyo Proxes T1R’s side tire width is small.
As such, after prolonged usage, the side tire width would degrade and become somewhat triangle-lised.

Truth ?

Any feed back from T1R user ?

The shop owner keep pushing me for Advan Neova

i m using Toyo Trampio Vimode,this model is replace by T1R, the side wall in triangle shape is to protect the rims, i think what u heard is rumour, last week my toyo tyres got puncture and i didn't realise it, i drive all the way from Ampang to Puchong flat, what suprise me most is the side wall of the tyre still intact when i take out for repair. Very strong tyre i should say. I have been using Toyo tyres for more than 5 years its a very very good tyres.

I've just recently bought a set of T1R size 235/45/17 to replace my AD07. Have it on my car for about 1 week already. Its just as good as my AD07. Got another friend who has been using it for about 2 months and no complains from him and me also.

I guess the reason for the shop keeper pushing Advan Neova is because the tyre is more expensive. But so far I've not heard of any of my friend using Toyo and complaining.

So, my best bet is to get the tyres and try them for yourself. Jsut my 2sen worth

Im using Toyo T1R on my 34 GTR.

I really cant say about the grip levels cause ive never given them a try but they are somewhat quiet at high speeds.

No complaints about the tires but i was using Continental ContiSport Contacts and 3 tires out of 4 developed bumps after 6 months.

Conveniently out of the warranty period. The Toyo T1R's so far have been very good. Im using 275/40/19.

I'd vouch for these tires but the Neova's are definitely a better choice if its a high performance car. :)

yes it is available and i'm using them.

however make sure ur suspension system is in good condition before using it. dont be like me (didnt know suspension got problem), less than 4 months, both front 80% BOTAK. i repeat....BOTAK, like semi-slick.
