Get the Altezza, first class body rigidity. Very powerful even at 210hp. All i can say is that its well balanced, full throttle on it, it'll cut past many cars beside you, without you yourself sweating up..... not as vicious as Evo or Scooby, more civilized engineering.

good luck! BUT..... why would you want a manual? i'd go auto with these not-too-powerful-not-too-weak cars..... i love cars with around 170hp-220hp with auto transmission, the hold back and kick when you floor the pedal is exhilirating! manuals thou more efficient, is very direct, better for all-round manouvering rather than cruising, or super cruising. :) Anyway hope you'd get one soon.

My friend is looking for an Altezza (3SGE 6 speeds manual), heard that the price of manual version is much higher than automatic version? My fren budget is below 140K, u guys think with the budget can get a year 99-00 Altezza manual ?

there is a manual altezza for sale in the star classified........try to look for it...... i would say most of the altezza in malaysia is triptronic........and manual tezza tend to be more expensive due to its rare in malaysia.....

there is a manual altezza with trd bodyits in kajang selling at 130...gonna check it out this saturday....

the reason i dont like the triptonic is because the plus/minus is on the stering wheel.....i feel very uncomfortable driving wthout my left hand holding the gear knob :)

Altezza was in my consideration list before i bought my current scooby...
My fren who is a car dealer loaned it for me for a few days to use and test drive for a couple of days before buying...
Its was in Gunmetal with 17 inches, WISE sports bodykits.. everything about the car looks pretty cool and good for a executive look...
th downside was it was in AUTO...

After some hard driving on the car, dont expect the Yamaha tuned 3S to be extremely responsive, Vvtis kick in late and the torque band of the altezza comes in at the later punches.. ( maybe i havent got a chance to try a manual 6 speeder, it would be fullfilling)

Before buying i consider things like spare parts, they were a bit hard to get in jb here..maybe SG carries more of them..

If You looking for a 4 DOOR SPORTY EXECUTIVE look, Go for it...

the price for a manual might be a bit hefty, but i say its worth it...

altezza is such a nice car... nice saloon.. can drift, race, carry more ppl... but i think it's a bit under power.. read many magazines said that it's still lose to B18CR eventough have 3sge 2.0 vvti.. i think add turbo kit is better but cant rev like NA anymore... hehe
