Yup, I agree with the RWD part as well.

Anyway, a part of car ownership, for me at least, is how others think of you when they see you driving it. Therefore, avoid cars that are known to be attached with bad stereotypes, especially of their owners. (Practicing extreme stereotyping) Small Hondas with Beng-ness, for example. Certain Toyotas with uncles, Most 4wds and MPVs with aunties and soccer mums, 3 series Beemers with rich prats or mistresses and so on so forth. Altezzas are rarer (ie. not many prats or bengs have bought one) and therefore, at the moment gives a good image of its driver.

This one's pretty good. Not too OTT. The Fast and Furious or JGTC looks don't really work for me.

executive-nes......need to show some professional impression when meeting all this tan sri's, dato, YB, etc....sometimes ur car reflects on ya selv....so good first impression can succesfully secure me some big deals....get whut i meen....if not becoz of this....i will still be driving my old' battered saga...

p.s: if up to me...i get my selv a skyline gtt....but...capitalist economy dictate what i want...

if ur only into looks..then celica is an OK OK only car...coz in terms of looks...u can get better looking cars with celica budget...

and celica only comes with approx 150 hp stock...where with the same price u can get much powerful car...DC5 or EP3...easily reaching 200hp stock...much better looking too!

in my knowledge both also 6 speed. but it really not suitable for the one with less bhp. becoz the 6th gear is more like for cruising... and when we need power, must downshift not to 5th, but into 4th. celica looks cool during launch, but now into its 6th years.

all new model is overdue. and if we prefer practicality above all, altezza is the better bet! though must admit, altezza also from the last millenium and the fact there is an all new altezza already. in 2.2 turbodiesel and 2.5 V6!

i thought the 2zzge vvtli engine only comes in 180hp, 190hp in lotus elise, and detuned 170hp in USDM corolla sport version. the 140hp version is the 1zzfe, vvt-i engine, yes, no variable lift, just vvti like any other modern toyota you see.

i've not driven any of those before, but looking at the dyno provided by toyota, seems like 1zzfe have more power than the vvtli 2zzge before 6krpm, yes the entire rev range below 6k, the vvtli only powerful after 5950rpm where the vvtli kicks in.
