Can anybody here provide a good setting for greddy profecb boost controller..My aim is 1.1 bar for low boost and 1.5 bar for high boost..a few of my frens already told me that for this one you have to do trial and error until you get the setup right, but maybe someone here which have similar setting to the one that i am aiming at can help me with it..How much should i set my GAIN and my START BOOST?..For info..my engine specs..VR4 with oversize 87 mm..HKS 272 cam..Wastegate Tial 44 mm 1 bar..I am looking for better response at lower rpm..Thx in advance for any help..Please let me know if i need to provide more info..Beginners here..Thx again...

this is basicly how u do it

this is wht bassicly is the profec b all about

ur wastegate is 1bar , so if u want to make it 1.5bar ,
start boost is when u want ur wastegate to start open

lets say i set my wastegate to START BOOST 1bar
gain 30% , so it means , 1bar wastegate will open, it will gain at 30% level n reach 1.5bar

if u set 30% gain,
START BOOST 1.4bar , so it means , 1.4bar wastegate will open , it will gain at 30% level n reach 1.5bar

if u set 5% gain
START BOOST 1bar , so means it will open at 1bar, get slower response and reach 1.5bar

hehehehe can understand ah :)
bt if ur gain is too high, instead of 1.5bar :P u might also achieve 1.7bar lolx

thx alot mr jinkl..meaning to say that higher gain=better response right..i think i have a rough ideas on how the GAIN function works now..will do trial n error later on..wish me luck and wish me not to overboost....

I think better send yr car to a tuner and set yr targeted boost while doing dyno run...After all, wont it be perfect to achieved yr required boost and at the same time know yr current BHP for low & high boost.
Dyno run only RM100 for few runs if im not wrong...
Just my 5 cents...
