Question on number plate transfer

Heya, would it be possible to transfer the plate no of an existing car (first hand owner) to another car which is second hand. Can be done?

Nope, not possible.. at least thats my frens case, tried to exchange suka same suka with another fren.. JPJ say only can be done if new registration is involved, means old car take new registration number, new car take the old num.. between registered car is not possible.. Maybe if u have high rank JPJ contact can try settle for u..
