We're lucky to have Alchemist~ReRider. Always up for organising etc.

we'll have to to this after merdeka race as hpc is busy with their entry and besides i'll be away too

Shall we limit the number? if yes how many? Attentive dates? Once date is confirmed, can we get non refundable deposits (ie. 50% of fee) I reckon this would help filter. Full day event?Half Day event? Full day seems more like it and we can actually play around with suspension settings etc.

Works for me. SIC requires minimum number of 30 cars, so I suggest we cap it at that. It's unlikely that we can get 30 RE machines to participate I think, so I reckon RE cars gets priorities and whatever slots left we can invite other makes to join in.

Half day is also enough for me, but I can definitely hang out for full day.

Jaii we need then to decide if this is a full day or half day event. I can then work around the costing. I believe a half day event would actually be more expensive and i'm not too sure its worthwhile considering the time you get. Thats my take though so lets hear what you guys have to say.

ReRider- not too sure. Brian's been super busy with their celica. Will update the gang next week. i'm hoping to minimise cost. DO we want lunch? I'm not such a big fan of eating lunch so you guys suggest.

half day is sufficient for me as well.... stock IC.. can't take that much abuse..
but it's good to fine tune the handling. half way through the fun we can do some drag event.. since the track belong to us :P bwahahahah

i can try getting a few more FD that's not on the official list...
at the moment i can see, most of the people prefer half day... based on the poll in RX8 club forum.

also don't know what to offer them....
our RE engines are so specific to few types of consumable except tyres...
but when they ask.. who are u... i duno how to answer.. ahahah
unless in our group there's someone that's doing events or marketing businesses...
maybe they can help...

The question in terms of getting sponspors is the value proposition that the event can give the sponsors. Off the top of my head, i'd say tyre company's looking to launch new tyres or strengthen existing line. They might want to shoot a promotional video/etc. fuel company's should actually love us considering the amount of fuel we presumably use. Perhaps they have a budget for promotions which we can look at.

I dunno but just my thoughts. i remember pertronas sponsoring a car club fuel on their drive upto thailand. So lets not dismiss the idea. maybe we can meet and draft a plan.
