Perdana's HU's problem...

Hi,

my perdana's HU's screen's backlit's gone...the LCD is working..but the screen backlit's gone...

where can i get this fixed?

is that the original HU comes with the car??
perhaps....you should change it to an aftermarket ones

yes it is...but its working fine..just that there's no screen's backlit...but would wanna repair it if its not too costly...

anyway another question...say if i were to change to an aftermarket one...
i've heard that only aftermarket clarion players would be able to retain my current 6 disc changer...is that true?

Hi, good day. Just want to know is your's double din Clraion Hu like Wira or Waja? If yes you can try to find somebody that have new Proton cars and wnat to change the HU, provided that repair cost is not acceptable. You can try at Lelong, once a whil got people try to sell it. I think you can get it around 70-100
What you say is true. Clarion changer match with Clarion Hu, but if I not mistaken got 1 brand that support Clarion changer, this you have to ask the accessories shop. Seems like you are a normal listener.

Well if i'm changing the HU, i would be going for something better...
but i'm just seeking if there's any ways of repairing the backlit..

If this is the case, you can stick on your repair budget on rm50 max, everything more than that you can forget about it and look for new HU. As more than rm50 is consider waste money..
