Hi alll...

I'm new in this ICE system... been using the original (come from factory)spec. Have been dreaming for a new system for a long time untill recently just got cought up in the process.

i have a scemetics for a new system. need all of your help if there is any thing with this design and all reply are welcome.

So your HU still a standard one now?
What is your budget?
What system you are up to? For own listening(SQ) or outside people listen(SPL)?
For SQ and low budget, you just need to get HU with 2 or 3 pre-outs, a 4 channel amp, 2 for speakers and 2 for woofer, then can consider case close. 2k to 3k is just nice, or lower depend on brand you are buying. Crossover and pre-amp no need.
If SPL then you will need a good and expensive HU, pre-amp, crossover, amps, crossover, capasitors, speakers and woofers. This will end up to 5k and above.

Actually it's for my van, I'm planning to upgrade my system according to the scematics that I have shown... is it ok?... because i wanted to have something of a heavy bass sound in my car. It is for my own pleasure.

In this case you have to use a 15' sub since yours is a van. You can follow your style, but since you are changing the whole set sound system, better to buy a HU with 3 pre-outs, then you can save money on the crossover. For your info, crossover only can tune below your seat (most of the people install it below seat), not like pre-amp.. Anyway is my opinion only.

Diagram looks okay to me.... The end results will depends on y our budget, what equipment you want to get. Can also use 1 amp (multi channel) for all the speakers.
