I'm trying to buy 3rd party 14" wheel rims for the Iswara instead of getting the OEM rims from Proton because those moneysuckers at Proton are charging RM 1,300+ for their OEM rims which is outrageous because those OEM are really just JRD rims.

Can someone advise what is the correct offset for Iswara 14" wheel rims without needing to use spacers ?

I am trying to look at some of the 14" BSA rims at

BSA International Bhd

......but all those different offsets and measurements have got me confused.

So basically I have two questions on 14" Iswara rims :-

1. If I don't want to use spacers, what would be the correct offset ?

2. Is a 14" x 6.0" correct for the tyre size 185/60 R14 ?

Thanks for any help bros.

Thanks bro.

There are a lot of 14" wheels out there with an offset of 40. In fact, Proton tells me their JRD-manufactured sport rims have an offset of 40, whereas most of the BSA 14" rims I am looking at have an offset of 38.

Will an offset difference of two mm (38 vs. 40) make a difference ?

yes there will be a diff...can be 2mm touching your rear abs or 2mm touching your rear fenders

Thanks man.

I think I will be conservative and pick the offset 38.

Finally, getting somewhere thanks to your info.
