Need help..pre amp connection!

thank a lot broz..thats mean i have no need for the preamp.
hee

cacin,how do i suppose to connect the o/p from HU (speaker) to the hi input? i need to have a connecter rite?

if i use the Y-split,is it possible it will blow my speaker? but i like you idea bert.

anyway,thanks bro for the help.

Hi,

When I look for your player manual (CDX-R3300) on the net, I found out that the RCA out can be switched between rear/sub. So, you can use bert's idea and set the output as REAR.
This way, there might be no damage to your speakers. Right bert?

Hope this helps.

shay,

You wont blow your speakers unless you set your bas, treble and level to max.. then up the volume to max... you will most likely pop your speakers. set the bass and treble to 0 and level to an acceptable level and you will not pop it.

Use the HU rear output to the amp split by a Y-cable. the channels for the sub will need to be set to sub and adjust the x-over. For the fronts, looks like there is no way to adjust the x-over so you will run it full range.

hmm

can you give me the drawing??
hard to understand by words..
hehehe
also,any pic of the Y-split cable??
plz send it by email. [email protected]
tq

HU REAR/SUB out
|
|-------- CH1/2 -------> AMP
|
|-------- CH3/4 -------> AMP

Atually it should be

HU output (since there is only 1 pair)
|
|---- White --> Y Cable |-> Channel 1
| |-> Channel 3
|
|---- Red --> Y Cable |-> Channel 2
|-> Channel 4

I was assuming that he know where to connect the splitter :D.
Anyway, thanks for the correction :)
