Hi all,
My AE82 finally going on project again...

This time is 4AGZE + turbo creating so call twin charger system.

My early progress picture was mistakenly deleted, and now is on installing the piping and make this 2 thing work only.

My engine bay now:

My looking item:

and don't forget to list down what are the parts involved.

Engine Part was involved:
1. SC14
2. 1G-GZE Throttle body (70mm)
3. TRD 272 Hi cam in/ex
4. 81.5 oversize piston
5. ACL Piston ring
6. King Bearing
7. Jun Supercharge Flywheel
8. TRD Clutch Cover
9. TRD Clutch plate, but was rebuild by BRClutch
10. IHI 5 VF35 Turbo
11. 1.6mm TRD metal Gasket
12. Kaaz 1.5 LSD
13. Gear ratio was been aftermarket, but unknown the brand and ratio
14. EVO 3 coil (planning)

Handling & braking stuff:
1. Cusco 2 point lower arm
2. Customize 4 point strut bar (planning)
3. Anti roll bar - Front rear
4. APP Steel braided
5. TRD Adjustable with front rear, hi low, soft hard + Cusco pillow ball
6. Front twin port + Rear single pot - from AE111
7. Customize fender bar

Electronic part:
1. Shame to said... Due not yet have the management :listen:
 
still wif std injector????

I still not sure whether is need to upgrade or not, but I have the 440 cc, 510 cc & 550 cc injector already.

what is the progress so far,i am interested to know how the system works,series or parallel,how do u run the bypass valve,charger on/off?

currently progress still same as the picture... Because doing some research on "Supercharge --> turbo or Turbo --> supercharge" and hearing the comment & risk from US & Japanese friend, that why the progress quite slow.

Now the state is clear and my flow will like this:

it look so familiar right? Yes... it is HKS twin charge system design...

The bypass valve will replace with the Nissan March bypass valve.

wah..another projects goin on..u can run 2 projects only in 1 month..cool.

-what did u do to your ae82 this time?
-why u do this?
-why did your header abit 'senget'? where u get that? can u pls take a close up pic of your header and the turbine.?? i believe we all here like to see it. can ar??
-what mngmnt that u lookin for?

- Twincharger

why u do this?
- want to reduce the turbo lag, so the supercharger will come into place.
- Increase max torque at low rev and keep delivery until wide rev, which turbo alone can't do it.

why did your header abit 'senget'? where u get that? can u pls take a close up pic of your header and the turbine.?? i believe we all here like to see it. can ar??
- Senget?? Really? My mechanic done that for me, so the purpose I not so sure... Want close up pic of my header? Okay no problem, I will try to upload later.

- Maybe Unichip Q, EMS or maybe a standalone, but not yet find the sources for it yet.

- At early US friend all suggest me go for VW setup, but Japanese friend ask me to use the BeeR or Direct supercharge setup... Recently they all just in 1 head & said,.. if 4AGZE upgrade twin charger, the easiest way is copy the HKS Twincharge system...

- No Ideal, but try the best.

- It turn to left side, because my mechanic build this header is base on 4AGE engine platform, where the downpipe might stay too close to the distributor. So i think the reason he move to left. I will upload the picture later, don't worry

- Because I providing the misleading information out, which I not know how the process is going on, so it was hard to me to answering that.

From the diagram...looks like you will be running turbo and supercharge both at the same time,the once the turbo boost kick in,the BPV will open right...how but the supercharger,still spinning when turbo boost comes in? or you switch it off since the turbo will be boosting much higher pressure than the s/c,and the s/c takes engine load..am i correct?But if switch off then boost press will leak or not? sorry i dunno much bout twincharge setup,it is interesting

yes, you are definitely right. Once the turbo boost kick in, the BPV will open, and thinking to keep supercharge charging while turbo boost come in. But the side effect is the supercharger can't long last (this I worry most)....

1. which induction come 1st
2. how to handle traction?

1. Supercharge will always kick in 1st... then Turbo support later.
2. What traction you mean?
