Lotus Elise price?

Hi,

Just would like to ask, does anyone know the latest prices in Malaysia for a Lotus Elise?
Either S1 or S2? Any year.

I've tried looking in the Conti forum but there was just one thread.

call lotus malaysia. (lookie for mr ong ka beng)

previously the S1 elise ( back in 1998) was retailed at RM190++ (new) for special 100 units. it had since made that number, & lotus malaysia revised the figure. it now coast above >RM200K++ (new) for the S1.

but if you are looking for an used/preowned elise S1, lotus malaysia can help as they are pretty tight group & will / may have some in store.

S2 elise (not exige) is retailed at about RM400++ . Special elises (111R, exige, 340R etc are POA)

it a nice track ready car.

officially the lower spec elises (S2) engines will be replaced by toyota 1ZZFE (same as MR-S) in UK from next year, i think as rover engines (K series) is no more.

higher spec elises will be using the 2ZZGE. (the exige, 111R, etc uses 2ZZ)

the S2 elises in malaysia is still rover engines (very few on yota)

The Base Elise is already in production and now known as the Elise S, comes with the 1ZZ engine.

Price on Aplication to Mr Oh Kah Beng, GM of Lotus Cars Asia Pacific.

Gobiz, He also has a few units of S1 available.

Oh, and a MME-winning Exige 300RR is also available. Complete with spares package. Price?? on application of course.
