Hi all,

I recently purchased a '79 Savanna and am looking to restore it. So first things first: the engine. I've read that 13btt (Glen) is the man when it comes to re-building engines and I'm interested in purchasing one from him. But I don't think his email's working. Anybody know how to contact him?

Congratulations on your purchase!

You can either call me (outside of business hours) at 012-314-6755 and arrange to meet with me to discuss your needs. I stay in Taman Desa, Old Klang Road.

Alternatively you can email me at [email protected].

hi eric, i wanna see my monster as well lol. lets hope all is done before the track day. i have suspensiion parts coming end of june so i'll just have to do without them this track day :(

suspension parts..... really monster... i tot u're using bilsteins ? changing to a drift suspension ?

Hey Brucey :P
Congrat on your purchase. I am sure that you will be happy with your SA22 . Is the engine on its last legs ? If not , i would consider the normal maintenance first before the rebuild. Esp. on a older car. What is your main purpose of the car ? Normal driving, track, Drift( yes the older SA22 can drift :P i have the video to prove it :P) ?

Good luck with your ride :)

Thanks

Hey SomeGuy_sg,

Thanks for the suggestion. Is the engine on its last legs? Oh yeah! When I bought it, the previous owner had (I know this is blasphemous) replaced the original RE with a piston! So right now, the piston's been taken out and I've got a dummy RE in there to get the mountings right. I'm in talks right now with another forum member as to what we're gonna do with the replacement engine.

My main purpose of the car is normal, everyday driving. Of course, kicking newer and ultra-expensive car's butt would be icing on the cake, hehehe! I'm not a drifter.....yet, so I wanna learn with this car.

Thanks for the suggestions, man! Appreciate it!
