i think no need to bring the approval letter. They surely know how to read the engine no and check it at the roadtax. Correct ?

talking abt jpj ..just now when i was on the way back home..i saw this saga...owner indian if i not wrong..his car kena tahan ..y..hehe because of air brush....i think the car is done by nitro design....whole car airburshed.....

as i know .. there is no AKTA on Tinted yet ,
i heard that they are still pending on the tinted drakness level on the ministry yet ,

Piping system cannot more than 2",straigh piping system n using fire stater.

If ur using da standard tinted(japan glass)need to request 4 approval letter frm JPJ
Larangan menggunakan cermin gelap
K.5 MV(PCTG)1991
K.10 MV (PCTG)
RM 200.00

Engine modification (open pod K&N product are strictly un-sorry),slot air filter will be ok!For Turbo kit user must bring approval letter (copy) with u!

Kaedah 5 (1) dan Kaedah 5 (3),Kaedah-Kaedah Kenderaan Motor (Larangan Mengenai Jenis-Jenis Kaca Tertentu) Pindaan 2000, menetapkan cermin cermin depan hendaklah telus cahaya tidak kurang 70%, manakala cermin belakang dan tepi hendaklah telus cahaya tidak kurang dari 50%.

PENGECUALIAN KHAS CERMIN GELAP
Pemasangan kaca gelap diberikan kepada orang-orang tertentu sahaja seperti di bawah kaedah 11(a) dan 11(B),Kaedah-Kaedah Kenderaan Motor (Larangan Mengenai Jenis-Jenis Kaca Tertentu) 1991.(VVIP,VIP,YAB,YB,Royal Vehicle,Cabinet Members)

Mana-mana orang yang tidak termasuk dalam kaedah 11(a) dan 11(B) yang menghadapi masalah kesihatan kulit terdedah atau dengan ancaman keselamatan boleh memohon pengecualian khas untuk pemasangan khas untuk pemasangan cermin gelap.

CONDITIONS THAT SHOULD BE ADHERED WHEN CHANGING ENGINE

1.No modification at mounting engine.

2.Welding are not allowed on mounting engine.

3.Propeller shaft cannot be cut or connected on any part.

4.Braking system should have an increased capacity of 25% from the original capacity.

5.Suspension needs to be upgraded including Spring Stiffness.

okay guys ..

AKTA= ???? dunno how to tell .

This is what i heard from Jpj officers .

The tinting on the Jpj guideline are base on 80's , they have stop using that because mostly OEM cars from Japan has tinting just because now the weather getting hotter ,

road transport ministry , JPJ and police , are still working on what is the best solution on that ... because there are alot of previous cases that are on police and jpj dont have proper equipment summon motorist just because they feel that the tinting is too dark , all of the summon has been void .

now if police or jpj summon you about tint ... just tell them ..
now no guideline you saman me also no use ,

My friend try to tell this before , they just keep quite and reply .. " you pandai ya "
( his car 90% tint , full car except front windscreen )
