a product by Soviet in race with USA to the space during late 80s. it manage to get into space for only once. later when Soviet collapse this fella is abandon due to lack of gorvernment support...

oh ya... the Antonov 225 i post is build to carry this thing as the primary objective...

Buran is a copy of the Shuttle not the other way around.
It is well known using the Cold War many spies were sent to infiltrate and bring back information to the Russians. The later day MIG's are a copy and paste effort from the American Hornet and Tomcat's, and of course with everything Russian it got a more powerful engine and more armor but reduce nimbleness and range.
