If a similar event is going to be organized, you will have to think of ways to control participants so that they will not speed. I personally don't mind having a mega convoy but keep it within safety and speed limits please!

the skyline club did organised one convoy to phuket. the 4wd guys always had high speed convoy pass midnight. euro guys also have theirs during early mornings. but during convoy usually rules are being followed.. only thing worrying is after the convoy ends and ppl started speeding home. that one no one can control. i've been on convoy with one club which i wouldn't name it here. the situation above happened when friends start to race themselves home. and no! i...m not the one driving.

The victim in this case, was totally innocent, and most probably didnt even know what did they died for. Why dont you try to tell the family of the victims that "accidents happen"?

er ur trying to tell me that you have never driven like a nut before or committed any road offences ? right. unless you dont own or drive a vehicle, then my sincerest apologies. if you have, i would certainly appreciate it if you express your opinions less hypocritically.

however i strongly agree with you that its irresponsible for the that no action was taken by the organizers to reveal the name of road offender but merely just cancelling the event.

Speeding is fine by me, as i do it myself. Waving in and out of heavy traffic? Going triple the speed limit in a foreign country on a road i am not familiar with? Now that's a different level of stupidity i have not lowered myself onto.

im not sure of the exact chances cause im no expert in the field but common sense tells me risks are increased when we drive fast no ? not everyone drives like Schumi. furthermore one mans slow could be another mans fkin fast.

but then again, its all fun and games until shit happens or in this case, a life is involved. i just feel that the event has been receiving such attention just because of the magnitute of its event compared to other street racing accidents which has injuries or even deaths that have occured.
