FN2 Civic TypeR, pls advise

Championship White FN2 Type R are all equip with the famous helical LSD if I'm not mistaken. I went to vision motorsports, the championship white type r euro is selling 180k! OMG! Still sourcing around for 2009 FN2 just for the sick of the LSD.

Hi guys. Mine is fn2 type S GT which is auto 1.8cc. I got some issue when my car shift the gear..during shifting,my car is draged for second and then the gear only shifted and go. I got this weird,Foreman told me this is the original set up for the car,but I just feel very weird and not so comfort during the gear shift,smtg like my car pick up so fast and during gear change,my car suddenly just delay and stuck there Untill the gear changed my car only can go. Any type S owner here!? I need member! For same car.. Haha

Btw,If anyone can help me pls help!

my bro also own civic euro.. i believe the code is FK2, not FN2..
well, for ur problem, my bro's car also have that problem.. from what forumers from civinfo forum said, this is common problem as the factory already set the ecu to change according to the "map".. the gearbox need about 1 second to change from 1 to 2.. but after that (2 to 3, 3 to 4 and so on), no lagging rite?..

they already solve this problem by "updating" their ecu.. but dunno if here at malaysia we also can do this..

Maybe you should try to flush your gearbox and use back stock ATF Honda gear-lube. U not sure also what type of gear oil used by previous owner in Japan.

I notice sometimes different gear oil produce different way of gearbox attitude. Try it and mostly u need to flush your gearbox also.
