honda civic EG build cost

So, here i am to ask some noob questions about some cost to get a EG pretty well done up.

What are the cost for?

1)B18cR transplant including lsd gearbox? engine only or halfcut?
2)Black interior with JDM speedometer?
3)A reliable adjustable suspension (brand)?
4)Front braking system upgrade?
5)Caring Tuner/workshop for the transplant?
6)Spoon carbon spoiler and mugen front lip?
7)Short shifter, anyone??
8)JPJ approval cost?
9)Whatelse? as it is for daily driven and some happy vtec randomly.

Please advise the latest price. cost breakdown. Really appreciate the input as i am doing the cost and planning.

------dc2 96 or 98 spec halfcut has all you need...price varies...engine only 5-6k?? halfcut > 11k?

----lots of brands...

----depends what halfcut you get, otherwise a H22A from prelude is budget upgrade..

depends on your location

not cheap and not easy to find
7)Short shifter, anyone??
if dc2 type r..the gearbox got lsd and shortshifter
8)JPJ approval cost?

nice seat, steering, rims and tires...

I've done it but it costs a lot and all in cash....hope it helps.
 
since newuy has already broke it down, let me just summarize a few pointers here before u uptake this project.

b18cR halfcut itself will set u back around 13.5k. mind you, price is not including labor to get it in your engine bay. u may be lucky enough to find yourself a buyer for ur current engine, if not, MAYBE the workshop will take it in as a trade in for ... 400 bucks?

2ndly, 13.5k for the halfcut... haha it doesnt stop there. while transplanting, u will soon discover alot of shit which u need to replace. engine mounting, cam seals, drive shaft seals, brake pads, skim disc, bushings for rear arm... (and the list goes on) which u NEED to replace before plonking in the engine because, u will need to replace them eventually.....

3rdly, u cant buy an engine kosong (engine only) because u dont have the other necessity such as vtec wiring, vtec ecu, b series gearbox... without them, the engine wouldnt run. its also not adviseable to buy them seperately. if theres any problems... good luck troubleshooting... (lets say u buy all from diff source, they'll blame each others parts... and say its the cause of the problem etc.)

then engine itself is very reliable and powerful enough stock, so daily drive + random revving is no problem.

Ok thanks for the input, I have now gotten the rough estimation of the cost and hunting for a good n cheap eg 2-door SHELL to start my project for this year. However, what would be labour charge is like?
 
rm1.5k if its direct plug and play from an eg halfcut.
if dc2..then more or less same but u cant use the bodyparts,etc

and in market now..2 door eg is expensive...
unless you want those track cars, then not road legal and cheap-cheap la
 
aiyo sure wan legal la hehe best if can buy cars from singapore...any jalan?
