Fatal Audi R8 crash

Earlier this month an Audi R8 driven by a 27-year old man from Gummersbach, Germany, spun out of control and eventually crashed into a barrier, killing the driver. According to police, the man behind the wheel of 420-PS R8 was not wearing his seatbelt but there was no evidence that he was excessively speeding.

Police said the driver probably didn’t adjust his speed to suit the wet conditions, causing the car to aquaplane before crashing into the guard rail.

Back in September, another Audi R8 crashed, also in wet weather, in Moscow but the driver of that car was said to be speeding when the accident occurred. Earlier in the year, several pre-production test mules overheated and caught on fire.

As a side note, I think awesomely sure footed cars like the R8 are even more dangerous to driver's with more money than sense, than say an old school Lambo. Why I say this? Well, cars like the R8 are so planted that it gives the pigeon brained driver a false sense of invincibility and he starts pushing it way too far. And because its limits are so high, when it lets go, its traveling at seriously dangerous speeds. Whereas cars that are scary by nature, say an old school Lambo, the driver simply shits himself and doesn't dare to do anything stupid.

It's amazing how low they can go in order to get a bit of attention. It's not just about their morale: it's their IQ.

Many, if not most, road accidents were caused by drivers who are oblivious to what are the limits of their vehicles. Most will resort to the simple yet dangerous rule of car price=car ability. Or, car mods=car ability. Just go to the Sepang Drag event. You'll wonder how well some cars can handle an accident without a roll cage. There's a fine line between being brave and reckless

Many don't even give a damn about that black donuts called tyres. They even go about rating them by brands: Goodyear good, Michelin good, Hankook not good, Yokohama don't know. What the f**k.

Just look at how wet the road is in the pics. These guys live in a country where it rains most of the time. Now they just bought a brand spanking new piece of top class speed machine and since they're not so patient to drive a slow car they must have been equally not so patient to wait for summer. F**k the rain, go hantam the car and end up hantam the guard rails oso. Thank God for Malaysia's all year round summer.
