While the horrific footage of a high-speed Ferrari 599 GTO crash is pretty much fresh in our minds, it seems that some would just not take it down as a stern reminder that going against the red lights is very dangerous; not only to themselves, but also to the other innocent, law-abiding road users. And this clip right here somehow proves two points to be true, that (1) going against the red lights is dangerous, and (2) the Rochor road junction is really an accident-prone area.

Not long after a GTO crashed into a taxi at this junction, another accident occurred at the exact location with exactly the same way; going against the red light. As seen in the video, the speeding Lexus was seen beating the red lights and goes crashing into the rear of a taxi, sending the taxi into a spin. The Lexus was reported to hit two more cars before finally coming to a halt.

Luckily though, there were no deaths in this crash. The taxi driver was unharmed in the crash, but his 30-year-old passenger was sent to the hospital for treatment, which he has been discharged not long after. The driver of the Lexus, a 30-year-old male was arrested on the scene for drunk driving.

If convicted, the driver could face a fine between $1,000 to $5,000 or jail time up to six months, and also be disqualified from driving for at least a year. And if he is a repeat offender, he could face a fine up to $30,000 and a maximum time of three years behind bars.
