Time: + / - 2hrs
Outcome: Satisfaction!
Cost: Just your self and a friend

To Change Front Absorbers

Front Absorbers

1. Open the camber nut, if ur changing to adjustable absorber, buy the adjustable camber screw. Make a marking on the camber so that if u fix back ur absorber, ur camber wont be out of place. But of course u can go to the tyre shop to adjust this... hehehe..

2. Open this one as well

3. After removing the two nuts in pic 1 and 2, the absorber is hanging now, loosen the the nuts shown above, make sure to hold the absorber, or else it will drop.

4. Fix in the new absorbers then following the steps above to finish it off.

Nice... but one note of advice for those you plan to do it. After removing the suspension, don't let the knuckle hang by itself as it might damage it (or you can say it isn't a good practice). Use a jack or something to support its weight.

huuu....satisfaction cant come out in words....Las week helping my friend replace his wira rear absorber...bought the spring clamp for 25 ringggit...all done in 2hours...heheheh...:thefinger:
