It uses a customized single piece long shaft, I first tried using the 2-piece long shaft that came with the CA18DET but the long shaft well do not have the space large enough to house the coupler bearing assembly. To the other question, I am using an R160 Subaru LSD diff for the rear.

Coldair, the 510 with CA18tebu how is it coupled to the rear diff? Also CA18tebu diff?

As for my 910, it'll remain 1.8 twin carby for a while, going to uprate the the suspension to about 32% from stock and ride it till I figure what I want to do with it.

devious, i have a jap spec 910 rear cradle... disc, caliper, arms, and the viscous r180 lsd. intnded to use on a 510 but nevr came around to using it. the components are seperated. if you are really interested you let me know in advance so that i can go dig up all the components from my store. gimme a call at 012-2962707

Errr.... Running 510 approximately 5 to 6 including mine. In condemn condition around 3 of them.

Wow.., I guess you better go after those that are not in running condition anymore and cannibalize those usable parts for "rainy days".

The combined length of the SR20 2-piece long shaft is too long to fit the 510, also the long shaft tunnel is not wide enough to fit the long shaft coupler assembly unless some surgery is done to it. I took the easy way out by going to a single long shaft.

Yes, running out of space for my cars, sometimes it's best to live in a kampong house where there are usually ample parking space, I envy the hugh space you have at your home.

Well I guess you all know I tried to do that from the beginning hoping to unite all Ole Skool enthusiats together but I guess I failed because not many are actually too keen on that except for a few die-hards, so I gave up already. I now want to stay focused on 510's and this is why this thread was started.

Please keep me in your activity loop, I'll leave it to you to organize and tow the Ole Skool line. I will join you guys whenever I can.

I have 180sx knuckles with skyline 4-pot brakes and also 180sx power steering, lower arms uses 510 but need some mods to the lower arms to adopt the 180sx ball joints. The rear suspension uses coil-overs and rear brakes are disc adopted from a Nissan Leopard with a customized caliper adaptor.

180SX knuckles can fit s14 caliper?? I also wanted to modified da 180sx knuckles into my datto

Can but you will need to mod your 510 lower arms, a simple process which requires the removal of the 510 ball joint and then install the 180sx ball joint with a customized ring to hold them together.

Errr..... About the brake pump... Can i use the 180sx master brake pump??? From which car of booster should i use?? As u know 180sx's brake booster was very big!!

You could use the master pump but not the brake booster, the booster is just too big to fit. I used a booster from a Nissan March which is about 6" in diameter, even with this a small amount of banging is required at the suspension tower, that's as large as you can go.
